Programs
on DXing, SWLing and the Media
By
John Figliozzi, November 2002 Programming Spotlight, Monitoring Times
It’s time for our semi-annual review of media-related programs on
shortwave. Capsule descriptions are provided, as each program has a slightly
different focus. For most stations refer to the Shortwave
Guide pages for frequency information. (Some listings have frequency
information to clarify which of the station’s multiple services is carrying
the program.) The one letter day abbreviations track those used in MT’s
Shortwave Guide section. Times are approximate and both times and
frequencies are subject to change. Internet web addresses are provided if the
program is also available on-demand.
